On 1st December 2018 Sussex Wedding Band, Go Commando, performed for their first time at the beautiful Grange Country House in Northwood, Middlesex. Only an hour and a half outside of the bands ‘s hometown of Brighton it was a short journey to celebrate the wedding of Emily and Adam.
Arriving at the venue we were struck by the stunning front lawns and the opulent decor throughout the building. Set within its own mature gardens and woodland The Grange Country House is the oldest of its kind in Northwood, Middlesex. As the guests enjoyed the delights of the wedding breakfast supplied by Heriot Catering we were able to setup and sound check in one of the larger rooms within the country house itself.
The bride and groom opted for our 2 x 1 hour sets package and the venue supplied their own DJ between our live sets. The couple kicked things off with Nick Mulvey’s hit Fever to the Form for their first dance followed by an hour DJ set while the guests tucked into a delicious buffet. With everyone thoroughly warmed up at 8pm Go Commando blew them away with their opening number; Happy by Pharrell Williams followed by 2 party sets that kept the dance floor full all night.
